What is NPORS?
Established in 1992, NPORS is one of the UK’s leading accreditation and registration bodies, working across the construction, industrial, utilities, warehousing and distribution, agricultural, ports and marine sectors.
Recognised by NPOPRS that their trainers needed a cost effective insurance solution to support their diverse training courses and offering, Watkin Davies who were already the appointed brokers to NPORS worked with a number of specialist insurers in order to gain market support to deliver and provide a bespoke training provider insurance product, covering a number of key sections, including; Professional Indemnity, Public/Products Liability, Employers Liability and Legal Expenses.
What Do We Offer?
As NPORS have grown over the years, so has the number of trainers and training centres which we have worked with, providing insurance for not just NPORS trainers, but also extending to include LANTRA, IPAF, CPCS, Health & Safety and Fire Safety Training.
In addition to providing Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance, we have also agreed to bespoke pricing for Plant and Hired-in Plant which is often a crucial part of an NPORS Trainers insurance requirements. This policy includes loss, theft or damage to both Owned plant and Hired-in plant ranging from micro-diggers to high-reach excavators used in a variety of disciplines.
